I am reticent to come here at all because of past experience, and I'm reminded this morning why I won't be coming back.
A warm and inviting bistro for a delicious lunch, fine wine and terrific desserts. The coffee is absolutely delicioso!
Always have a delicious menu. Great drinks. The wait staff is awesome
They are too busy preening or on the phone, and acting aloof to scan the dining room and check on guests. I tried everything short of waving flags to get some coffee.
They did offer to get me something else but we were on limited time. Was actually disappointed.
The aloof staff greats you, seats you and gives you something to drink, then they promptly forget about you.
The kitchen is extremely slow, so don't go if you're hungry. Expect at least a half hour to 45 minutes wait before getting served food.... on a good day. Up to an hour on a busy day.
It was a variety of experiences. The restaurant seems to think they are better than they really are. The dining room is shabby at best, and wait staff was mediocre. She spilled my drink all over the table and never apologized or brought napkins. Nor did she ever ask if we wanted another round of drinks. Just went my husband and I were thinking we had picked a truly dismal place for our anniversary weekend, they brought dinner. And dinner was AMAZING. My husband had a tortellini dish which appeared handmade and tasted amazing. I had a blueberry browned butter salmon that I am still thinking about. So delicious. So depending on what you are looking for in a dining experience this might be your place.
Usually really like this restaurant and the staff. At a recent lunch I ordered a wrap. The menu nor the waitress said anything about it being spicy. But it was. I could not eat it.
