Cash only no credit cards excepted here. Not much of a selection on their menu. But the waiter and cashier were excellent! So the 2 stars are for them.
Way too slow service. There were no other customers ahead of us. No one was served that had been waiting before we arrived. After getting water, sitting, talking and realizing nobody behind the counter had moved since we paid, I started watching intently to see just when someone would finally start getting any of it ready. 1 sandwich, and another half with soup should at least be easy enough to start by just ladling out the soup. It's already cooked!!
Finally someone hung our ticket up halfheartedly and the "work" got under way. No, never mind. Then a conversation with another employee and then the task was at hand. It really even took a while longer than it would most anywhere else, even after that point.
First and foremost, if you are a vegetarian or vegan looking for lunch in Farmington, Soup For You is your best friend. I've never seen any other menu split so evenly between vegan/vegetarian and non-vegan/veg options. There will always be more options than you expect as far as soups and sandwiches go, along with smoothies, coffee beverages, and cooler drinks. There are great options for kids as well, like simple grilled cheese and PB&J. I love the atmosphere here, and the food is just amazing. I would recommend Soup For You to anyone, it's a must if you're in Farmington. This place blows other sandwich shops out of the water.
Great recipes. Hot, delicious, fresh, and a good option for farmington to have. Although Service is quite slow most all of the time. Which is weird because it's all quite easy heat and serve. A wonderful spot in need of better staffing. Also beware they don't except cards, rather odd for the volume they do and being 2017.
NO soup for you!
They let stray cats into their building and the cats are always fighting out back. Apparently the soup is ok, watch for cat hair in it though.
